Hi. I'm Sherri Smith, Oliver's Mom and Founder of Oliver's Gift, a  501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. I started Oliver's Gift in memory of my son Oliver who tragically died in March 2019. To keep his beautiful, giving memory alive, I chose to continue his tradition of creating care kits for the less fortunate in our community. I feel Oliver's spirit everywhere I go, and I know that he is so joyful that his mission to care for the less fortunate in our community continues. 

Oliver was an Ordained Monastic Monk with followers from around the globe. He spent much of his life making sure all those he came into contact with knew there was hope, love, and genuine kindness in the world. Practicing compassion, his vision was that all mankind could show unconditional love for each other, regardless of their situation or circumstance. That truly was Oliver's Gift to the world. 

 With your support, Oliver's Gift will continually strive to impact our community with love and kindness. We host a donation and packing party each year with a goal of a certain number of kits to be created. These kits are distributed through many outlets to the homeless, to veterans, women, children, and families in need.
